Before and after photos are the most honest way to describe this service. It is hard to put into words what a sofa looks like when a layer of deposit comes off it after five years of use, or a mattress once the sweat marks are gone. On this page we collect work from flats, houses and offices in Warsaw - the furniture, mattresses, carpets and carpeting we clean every day. All the photos come from our own jobs, not from stock libraries.

What you most often see in the photos

• Sofas and corner sofas after years of use - dark worn patches where people sit and on the armrests, marks from hands and cosmetics.
• Mattresses with stains - yellow rings from sweat, marks from children's bedwetting, stains from spilled drinks.
• Carpets after pets - hair worked into the pile, a matt surface, urine and vomit stains.
• Office and gaming chairs - seats and armrests darker than the rest of the upholstery, greasy deposit from hands.
• Office carpeting - worn stripes in the walkways, coffee stains in the meeting rooms.
• Car interiors - seats, headliner and boot after transporting animals or building materials.

How to read before and after photos

An honest comparison requires the same conditions: the same light, the same distance and the same frame. That is why we always take the photos from the same spot, with no filters and no extra lamp after cleaning. If in the "after" photo the furniture looks two shades lighter purely because of better lighting, that is not proof of quality but an exercise in photography.

It is also worth remembering that the result depends on the starting point. Fabric that is mechanically worn - where the fibres have been physically destroyed by sand and friction - will not return to factory condition, because there is nothing to restore. Cleaning removes dirt, it does not rebuild the structure of the material. In our photos you will see both: spectacular transformations and realistic improvements where the furniture already has its years behind it.

Typical results you can expect

• Coffee, tea, juice and milk stains - in the vast majority of cases they come out completely.
• Marks from hands and cosmetics - removed with grease-dissolving products; the result is usually complete.
• Pet and child urine - broken down enzymatically; with fresh soiling the smell disappears, with foam soaked deep through a trace may remain.
• Blood - treated cold so the protein is not set; fresh stains come out entirely.
• Red wine - usually lightens clearly; the result depends on how much time has passed and whether the stain was previously heated or treated with a home remedy.
• Paint, ink, nail polish, scorch marks - the hardest category; we always warn before cleaning that full removal may be impossible.

Work in flats

The most common private job is a sofa or corner sofa in the living room, often together with armchairs and a carpet. Second come mattresses, especially in families with small children and in the homes of allergy sufferers. Many people decide to have cleaning done before the holidays, before guests arrive, or just after a renovation, when construction dust has settled on every textile in the house.

A growing group is rental flats. Cleaning the upholstery between tenants costs a fraction of the price of replacing the furniture, and the flat looks a class better in photos. Owners who do it regularly let their flats faster and hear fewer complaints about the smell of the sofa.

Work in companies

In offices we most often clean carpeting, swivel chairs and conference chairs. We work in sections and outside working hours - preferably on Friday evening, so the surface dries over the weekend. On such jobs the result shows best in the walkways: stripes that seemed to be a permanent part of the decor go back to the colour of the rest of the carpeting after cleaning.

We also serve hotels and guesthouses (mattresses and headboards), kindergartens and schools (carpeting and upholstery in the rooms), medical and beauty practices and commercial premises. For recurring jobs we agree a schedule and remind you of the next date.

How long such a transformation takes

A sofa or corner sofa usually means 40 to 90 minutes of work, a mattress about an hour, a set of four chairs about 40 minutes, a 15 m² carpet roughly an hour. To that you add the drying time: furniture upholstery 4 to 8 hours, a mattress 10 to 15 hours, office carpeting 4 to 8 hours with good ventilation. On request we finish drying with a blower (PLN 80, about 30 minutes), which roughly halves that time.

The result is visible as soon as the work is finished, but the final colour of the fabric is judged once it is dry - damp material always looks darker. That is why for the "after" photos we wait until the furniture has dried, rather than photographing it straight after extraction.

How much such a service costs

Prices are fixed and known before we arrive. A two-seater sofa is PLN 162 after the discount, a three-seater PLN 198, a standard corner sofa PLN 225, a large corner sofa PLN 243, a single mattress PLN 99, a double PLN 144, an armchair from PLN 45, a chair from PLN 19 each, a carpet or carpeting in a flat PLN 22 per m², office carpeting from PLN 13 per m². The minimum order is PLN 150, and stain removal is always included in the price.

The most common questions about results

• Will the furniture look like new? If the fabric is not mechanically worn - very often yes. If the fibres are destroyed by friction, cleaning will remove the dirt but will not rebuild the material.
• Will the colour come back? The colour comes back when it was dulled by deposit and dust. Fading from the sun is a permanent change in the dye and cleaning will not undo it.
• Can a stain come back once dry? With our method almost never - we rinse the fabric, so no detergent stays in it to draw dirt up from the depths. Returning stains are typical of cleaning without extraction.
• Will you show the result before you leave? Yes, we always show the furniture after the work and say what came out entirely and where a trace remains.
• Can I see more of your work? Yes, we publish new photos regularly; we can also send examples from furniture similar to yours.

How to care for furniture after cleaning

• Vacuum once a week - ideally with the upholstery nozzle, in two directions. That removes the sand that destroys the fibres.
• React to fresh stains - press paper towel on them instead of rubbing, and do not pour water on the stain.
• Turn the seat cushions - even wear means the furniture keeps a uniform look for longer.
• Avoid strong sunlight - it is the main cause of fabric fading, which cleaning cannot undo.
• Air the room - damp air encourages dust mites and odours in the filling of the furniture.

With that kind of care the next cleaning is enough once a year, and the furniture keeps its look far longer than the usual few seasons.

Where the differences in results come from

The same type of furniture can look completely different after cleaning, and three things usually decide it. The first is time - the longer the soiling sits in the fabric, the more strongly it binds to the fibre. The second is earlier attempts to rescue the furniture with home remedies: vinegar, baking soda and washing-up liquid are sometimes effective, but on some dyes they leave permanent light patches. The third is the material itself: microfibre and easy-clean fabrics come back into shape almost always, velour needs the pile brushing, and fabrics with viscose are capricious, so we work on them more carefully.

That is why, alongside photos of our work, we try to add the context: how old the furniture was, whether there was a pet in the house and whether anything had been poured on the stains before. Without that, comparing two photographs says little; with it, you can see what to realistically expect in a similar situation.
